The Consett Innovation Centre is located on the Ponds Court Business Park, to the west of the town with views of the rolling picturesque countryside at the head of the Derwent and Browney valleys.
Fifteen miles from Newcastle and Durham, the Centre offers easy access by road from the Tyne and Wear Valley areas. Consett is part of the district of Derwentside in the north west of County Durham and enjoys a first class rural setting.
In recent years it has benefited from major infrastructure developments brought about by the redevelopment of the steelworks site. New housing developments have sprung up to meet the demand from people wanting to live and work in the area.
