David spent 31 years with NatWest bank prior to joining DIDA in 2000.  He also spent a period with DIDA, during 1991/1992, on secondment from the bank providing business planning advice.

His vast experience in commercial banking allows him to give sound structured advice in all aspects of accessing finance and business planning.

He has also gained a good knowledge of all local support schemes available to businesses within the area.

In latter years, he has provided advice to a wide cross-section of start-up clients, including those involved in technology related markets, helping them to find premises, as well as funding and grants.
