Eddie Hutchinson

 Chief Executive

Eddie is a graduate aeronautical engineer and holds an MSc in Management from the University of Durham Business School (1971).  He was awarded an MBE for services to the business community in Derwentside in 1995.

He has been involved with DIDA since its formation in 1982 becoming Chief Executive in 1988.  During this time he has gained significant experience in assisting a wide cross-section of businesses, including technology related ventures at start-up and early stage development, in advising on strategic business planning and accessing finance.  He has particular expertise in securing large scale, discretionary government grants.
