Management Development Co-ordinator

Joyce joined DIDA during its formative period over 20 years ago.  Initially a secondee from the Coal Board, she remained with DIDA to manage its enterprise workshop complex.

She later introduced the first training programme for business start-ups, and ultimately attracted both Newcastle and Durham universities to deliver management development programmes at DIDA.  Joyce has full responsibility for managing DIDA’s Management Development activities which includes levels 2 to 4 ILM accredited programmes.

Joyce also directs and manages the County Durham STEP programme which places undergraduates in local businesses during the summer vacation to undertake a business based project.  DIDA is now the longest-serving STEP managing agent in the UK.
